Omnetics Connector Company has more than 30 years of experience in designing and manufacturing miniature, high-reliability connectors. Omnetics offers a variety of micro and ultra micro connectors to meet your needs. The micro connector transmits 3 amperes of current per contact with a centerline spacing of 0.050 inches (1.27 mm), while the nano connector transmits 1 ampere of current per contact with a centerline spacing of 0.025 inches (0.64 mm). D-shaped connectors, bar connectors, and circular connectors can be used in micro and nano configurations. In addition to application-specific designs, standard and COTS components are also provided.

Omnetics' connectors are also equipped with our customized, patented Flex-Pin contact design. Flex Pin is very suitable for extreme environments because of its high resistance to shock and vibration. It is designed to have four contact points when plugged into a socket to ensure a continuous signal. Omnetics' Flex Pins are tempered beryllium copper spring pins whose durability exceeds military specifications. They are gold-plated, extending their mating capability to more than 2,000 mating cycles. The material composition of the Flex Pin also allows it to stay fit under extreme temperatures: from -55ºC to 125ºC.
